Arriving by Bus

The number 3 bus is an easy and economic form of transport from Edinburgh city centre to the castle gates and vice versa.

The bus departs and arrives just outside the castle gates approximately every 10 minutes.

In the city centre the number 3 bus can be found on numerous stops along Princes Street (beside the Waverly Train Station) and along North Bridge (perpendicular to the Royal Mile).
